Method : L'Institut Destination Langues offers you high quality teaching from its team of experienced teachers, all of whom have qualified in French universities (Master of "French as a foreign language"). They all benefit from a great experience in France as well as in many countries.
Our aim is to give you the maximum amount of know-how on the language and culture of our country. The methodology is based around the 6 basic skill-sets, encompassing the aptitudes from the Common European Reference Framework for Languages ("Cadre Européen Commun de Référence pour les Langues"), as defined by the European Commission for language learning : listening comprehension, reading comprehension, oral expression, written expression, oral interaction, written interaction.
Before signing up, an initial test determines the level of written and spoken language student. At the end of the course, the student receives a certificate showing the level that they have reached.
All lessons are in groups of no more than 12 people at a time. This structure allows close monitoring of the work and progress of each individual, whilst still with a group dynamic. Group lessons are of great benefit for language learning through its very organisation, and allowing creativity, differing motivations, exchanges and relationships.
Preparing for qualifications : We set up our students for the T.C.F (Test de Connaissance du Français / Knowledge Test of French), for the D.EL.F (Diplôme d' Etudes en Langue Française / Diploma of Studies in French Language) and for the D.A.L.F (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française / Diploma for In-depth Study of the French Language) which is recognised for access into all French universities ; as well as for exams for French diplomas from the Paris Chamber of Commerce.

The registration fee for a year to L' Institut Destination Langues is : 35€.

Our group courses take place in the morning, from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm.

We also offer French courses in the evening (once a week, every Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:45pm), for students who are not free during the day.
Duration (minimum) : 3 months (3 X 4 weeks) ; 1 hour 30 per week.
Price : 170 € for 3 months (+ 35€ registration fee + 25€ learning material).

OUR INSTITUTE PROVIDES A FREE WIFI CONNECTION AND A ROOM WHERE STUDENTS CAN WORK ON INTERNET
Registration process :
Before any registration, you will have to be evaluated by our team : a written test will be sent to you by email, and we will phone you in your country to assess your speaking skills (except for complete beginners).
CONDITIONS :
All lessons are in groups of no more than 12 people at a time. The average number of students is 8.
Each lesson lasts 55 minutes. There is a break after the first 2 lessons in the morning.
* Cancellation : if the student comes to miss a lesson, the institute won't pay him/her back. The institute reserves the right to make minor changes to prices, dates and types of courses without prior notice (courses will not normally start unless there are a minimum of 6 students).
* Cancellation Fees :
* Level : it is the responsibility of the Institute’s tutors, and their responsibility only, to assess your level of French and to assign you to a class most suited to your needs.
* Public holidays : public holidays are neither refundable nor recoupable (2012 : Monday 28th May, Wednesday 15th August, Thursday 1st November / 2013 : Wednesday 1st May, Wednesday 8th May, Thursday 9th May, Monday 20th May, Thursday 15th August). In 2012/2013, the institute will be closed : from 17th to 23rd September 2012, from 17th December 2012 to 6th January 2013, from 1st to 7th April 2013, from 23rd to 29th September 2013 and from 23rd December 2013 to 5th January 2014.

SCHOOL REGULATIONS 2012 / 2013
* Legislation and insurance : all students must be legally entitled to stay in France for the duration of the course and must be 18 years of age. Students from the age of 16 may be admitted with their parents’ consent. Students who have been granted an entry visa for study purposes must attend the course regularly. All students who attend courses at the school must have their own medical, accident and civil responsibility insurance cover.
* Registration : students will have to book a long time in advance, as the number of places is limited. Before any registration, you will have to sign the school regulations and you will be evaluated by our team : a written test will be sent to you by email, and we will phone you in your country to assess your speaking skills. The whole course must be paid in full before the first day in class.
* Payment : students who have not paid for their course in full before the first day of class (as well as the registration fee of €35 and €25 for the learning material) will not be able to attend lessons, whatever course type chosen.

* Cancellation Fees :
- With more than four weeks’ notice, 50% of paid fees will be refunded.
- With less than four weeks’ notice, 30% of paid fees will be refunded.
No refund if we are informed of your cancellation after the course begins. For non-EU residents requiring a French visa : if your visa application is refused by the French Embassy, we will reimburse you in full after deducting the registration fee (35€) and any banking charges upon receipt (a copy) of the visa refusal. Refunds are not payable in cases of absence or early departure, except in cases of illness or accident duly documented by an appropriate medical certificate which clearly shows that the student is unable to continue with their language course. In any case the current school term will not be refunded. Course fees are not transferable to another student.
